Description:
Orlando has one of the nine Medieval Times shows in North America, and this is the show my kids rate number one in town. Inside, guests gorge themselves on barbecued spareribs, herb-roasted chicken, soup, garlic bread, potatoes, dessert, and beverages including beer. Vegetarian offerings include a stuffed mushroom cap with roasted veggies and a hummus dip. But because this is the 11th century, you eat with your fingers from metal plates while knights mounted on Andalusian horses run around the arena, jousting and clanging to please the fair ladies. Arrive 90 minutes early for good seats and to see the Medieval Village, a re-created Middle Ages settlement. The storyline, "Knights of the Realm," adds a touch of romance between one of the knights and a princess to the action. Show times vary, but there is at least one performance nightly (7:30pm), two during peak seasons (6:30 and 8:30pm).

Description:
It's hard to describe what the Blue Man Group is. Part live music, part comedy, part stunts, Blue Man sets the zany theatrics of three colorful characters against a fabulous live soundtrack that will have you dancing in your seats. It's difficult to peel your eyes off the stage glowing color and splashed with neon paint. Tucked inside Universal's CityWalk, Blue Man Group is an ideal evening activity before or after dinner and drinks at one of the many restaurants and clubs nearby.

Description:
The special-effects show at this theater includes a full-size ship in a 300,000-gallon lagoon, circus-style aerial acts, a lot of music, and a little drama. Your kids may even get a chance to participate. Dinner includes an appetizer buffet with the preshow, followed by your choice of roast chicken, pork, or garlic lobster morsels and shrimp, with seasoned rice or roasted potatoes and mixed vegetables; dessert and coffee. Kids meals come with chicken fingers. After the show, you're invited to the Buccaneer Bash dance party where you can mingle with cast members. This is a smaller production than the aforementioned shows, but it is nicely done, and the stadium and crowds are not as large and overwhelming. Show times vary, but there is at least one show nightly.

Description:
The 250-odd seat Mad Cow Theatre is a prime venue at Orlando to host stage plays, music concerts, dances or all together through musicals. The annual Orlando Cabaret Festival finds itself a permanent venue at the Mad Cow Theatre. Before the popular movie Sweeney Todd lit the big screen, one of the places it ran as a successful musical was the Mad Cow. Adding to the list of popular musicals featured often is the Fantasticks. Comedies such as 'Present Laughter' or analysis of human nature in 'A Number' have been other features to have earned standing ovations.
