Outdoor Recreation in Oslo

Surrounded by fjord, forest and mountains, Oslovians are outdoors whenever possible, hiking or skiing in the forest, swimming in one of more than 300 lakes in Oslomarka Forest, sailing on the fjord or exploring the fjord islands. For a less vigorous time outdoors, but no less enjoyable, Oslo offers plenty of parks and lazy walks along paths and ridges with fantastic views. Or you can hang out at a beach to swim and soak up some rays, with or without clothes.
