  • NileGuide Expert Says:

Cafe Christiania offers traditional English afternoon tea every day between noon and 5:30 pm.

  • Description:

    • Located in a building from 1894, Cafe Christiania is inspired by early 1900s Norwegian history and culture. This is apparent from the interior (lots of details from old-fashioned country shops) and the menu (comprising classics like Wienerschnitzel and Sole Meuniere). Cafe Christiania is a popular lunch spot with politicians from nearby Parliament and the business crowd.

      Excellent food and service

    • Great food, good wine, attentive staff and great atmosphere. Relatively decent prices. Portions are on the small side (french cuisine) but fresh bread and butter is available.
