- It is a bit difficult to have outdoor markets here in the cold north, but some people try. Every year from early spring until late in the autumn you can buy flowers on Stortorget. This is not a big market, and perhaps cannot measure up to Amsterdam or other places, but it smells good. Stortorget (literally the Big Market) is the square in front of the cathedral.
