• This pleasant hotel-restaurant, conveniently sited across the street from the rail station and the ferry dock, has a bit more going for it than an undistinguished modern exterior seems to indicate. The rooms are nicely if simply furnished in contemporary style and have good bathrooms; most also have a harbor view. White wallpaper contrasts with the blue carpets and gray bedcovers. There's a decent restaurant with a sidewalk terrace, the Grand Café Du Bassin, where seafood is a specialty.
