This simple budget hotel, centrally located on Calle Sucre, just a block from the Plaza de Ponchos, is a great choice in Otavalo. A relaxing interior courtyard lounge on the second floor is enclosed by a tall brick wall. Interior brick arches and other design touches give this place more charm and class than you'd expect at this price. Note: As with El Indio Inn, there are two Samay Inn sites in Otavalo -- don't head to the one closer to the bus station.
