- Long and narrow, Light of India in the heart of the Glebe features a jumbled Indian decor and candles on the tables. The family-run restaurant features a daily luncheon and Sunday brunch buffet, and an à la carte dinner menu of traditional dishes from the northeastern region of India. The extensive and flavorful menu also includes a number of combination platters and dishes perfect for sharing and sampling. On weekends, the restaurant is packed with well-dressed couples and groups of all ages. Special buffets are available on the weekends.
