Description:
Opposite the entrance to Taourirt Kasbah, this is an interesting mix of museum, gallery, and retail where you'll find some good-quality -- though not necessarily cheap -- crafts at more or less fixed prices. Especially interesting is the Centre du Tapis at the rear where you can see -- and buy -- carpets being handmade by women from the local Ouzgita tribe. The women are welcoming, and it's a great experience to sit with them at their large looms and see their swift, nimble work. Open daily 9am to 12:30pm and 3 to 6pm. Centre du Tapis closed weekends.
