Description:
- The Cock and Camel calls itself a pub, but is perhaps more of a winebar. It opens from 8a serving coffee, with food and alcohol being served from noon. The bar was established only a couple of years ago and the decor is bright and modern, with split levels. There is a wide range of wines, bitters and lagers on offer. The only drawback is that prices are not cheap. The split-level flooring makes disabled access to the bar difficult and the toilets are at the bottom of a steep flight of stairs, but the main entrance has a ramp. Good quality food (salads and light dishes) is served from noon-8p from Monday to Thursday and on Sundays. On Fridays and Saturdays, food is only served until 6p.
