- The Turl Bar is a cousin of The Mitre. But unlike The Mitre, The Turl has an unmistakable medieval charm that really ought to be experienced. Turl Street is a very beautiful college lane in Oxford, and this pub certainly maintains an appropriate level of elegance. The music can sometimes be a bit loud, but the youthful crowd gives the pub a very unique ambience.
