Description:
- The River Hotel's main asset is its location: it's near the station, is well served by local buses, and is within easy walking distance of the town center. As the name suggests, it is also close to one of the tributaries of the Thames. Most of the rooms only offer a glimpse of the river, but if the weather is good, it's well worth wandering along the Thames path. This stretch of the path is fairly built up, but allows you to see a different side of the city. All rooms are en suite or have private bathrooms. The hotel has a bar and restaurant, as well as a small meeting room. For a temporary membership fee, residents also have access to a local fitness club.
