• In the centre of Oxford behind the Odeon Cinema there is a large open square. Every Wednesday there is a market here with a variety of vegetable and fruit sellers plus other market type stalls. Quite exciting for Oxford and good prices or even cheap prices for a wide variety of necessary and unnecessary goods! The weekly market at Gloucester Green operates every Wednesday from 9am - 5pm and is operated by Oxford City Council. On the same site a Farmers' Market takes place on the first and third Thursday of every month from 9am - 3pm. Sellers here have food and veg including meat with organic food too.
