- For the best views of the dreaming spires of Oxford go to South Park. Located to the east of the city on the way to Headington this is a park owned by the city council. It was one time owned by the local Morrell family, Oxford brewers. Free to enter - walk up to the top for the best views. It is also the site for the circus, fun fair and November 5th fireworks display.
