  • South Park is owned by Oxford City Council - it was bequeathed by a local brewer (the Morrells) earlier last century. A lovely green space and best of all free. It is one of those places where you get magnificent views of Oxford and the dreaming spires. In snowy weather it is a favourite for sledging. Enjoy the views and the green space. It is a short bus trip from the city centre - buses that go to Headington stop nearby or the number 15 up Morrell Avenue.
