- Wellington Country Park was bought into origin in the year 1974 by the duke and duchess of Wellington. The park is spread over 350 acres and has picnic tables and gardens as also natural walk trails. There are several activities that are conducted in different areas of the park to keep the people amused. There are provisions of a coffee shop which provides take aways, lunch and dinner, so you need not bother to pack any food. You might also want to check out their souvenir shop to take something away as a memory of your visit here. So, this is a great place for all those who have forgotten the simple pleasures of the country life in the hustle and bustle of the city.
