Description:
After a heady wander among the sights, sounds, and smells of Padua's open-air marketplace, one of Italy's most colorful and authentic, head for a respite at this enoteca. A stylishly minimal decor in the cream and rose-petal interior is attractive, but the outdoor courtyard where centuries-old horse stables have been converted for modern-day grazers is the warm-weather draw -- especially when the restaurant hosts its monthly jazz concerts in summer. Only a handful of dishes are offered -- and the menu changes seasonally -- but each is excellently prepared, such as cavatelli in a white ragout. For a more lingering and a memorable meal in these relaxing settings, try the tasting menu (37€/$48).
