Ah-Tah-Thi-Ki Museum (Seminole Tribe of Florida)

Description:

  • Sponsored by the Seminole Indian Tribe, the 5,000 square foot Ah-Tah-Thi-Ki Museum is host to its fascinating history, culture and crafts. The name means "to learn" and there are a variety of opportunities here including exhibits and rare artifacts that show how the Seminoles lived in the Florida swamps during the late 1800's. There are guided tours around the 60-acre cypress dome in the Big Cypress Swamp, airboat rides and swamp buggy tours. A restaurant is on the premises for hungry visitors.
