Opened to the public in 1960, Flagler's 1902 Guilded Age estate, Whitehall, is now the extraordinary Flagler Museum. At Whitehall, which was once described by the New York Herald as "the Taj Mahal of North America," visitors can see the home and many artifacts on display.
