  • The Best of NileGuide
  • Truly a green oasis in the middle of the desert, Palm Springs has long served as a winter getaway for the rich and famous - and for those just looking for some warm weather. Most common downtown are steakhouses, where prime porterhouses and filet mignons are grilled to perfection. LG's Prime Steakhouse is probably the best known and most awarded in town. For a more casual place to fill up, try Tyler's Burgers. Great burgers, great fries and great shakes - is there anything else you could ask for in a burger joint? There are some more refined options, too, in the several good European restaurants around town. Johannes offers super-creative European fusion in a cozy setting and Le Vallauris serves the best in traditional French cooking. And if you want to make like a celebrity, pop into Sherman's Deli before hitting the links. This is the spot where the Film Festival-goers fuel up for breakfast. And for a completely unique experience, stop into Wang's. Palm Springs will take the heat off with a great restaurant dining experience.
