- Most pubs rely on the drinks to pay the bills, and food comes as an afterthought. Not so at the Village Pub, where the menu is extensive, international and delicious. There is a selection of three dozen different salads, each with its own special dressing. Salads range from a simple side salad to the Acapulco Breeze: vegetables and cilantro in a jalapeno salsa. Burgers come in several varieties. Specialties include curries, Pork Medallions with real Roquefort cheese and Lamb Casserole Dijonnaise. There is live music and dancing seven nights a week
