- A great entrance into Joshua Tree National Park, especiallyl if you are entering the park from the west on the Twenty Nine Palms Highway (62). The visitors center has many maps, guides and books. Rangers and docents are available for questions. There is a nice gift shop and café. This is the best route into the Hidden Valley.
