- Arastradero Open Space Reserve is easy to access and often sees dog walkers, joggers, horse riders and picnic-goers when the weather is good. Fall is a great time to visit when you can encounter exotic birds, wild rabbits and dramatic flora like wild roses, snow berries, monkey flowers and poison hemlock. Most of the trails are quite friendly even to novices and they provide superb vistas of the rolling hills, pristine water bodies and wild life.
