While everyone would love to stay at four star resorts, it is not feasible for many in today economic climate. All is not lost however as Panama City Beach is one of the more affordable vacation destinations in the country. Fortunately, no matter where you stay in Panama City, you are never far from the water. Excellent deals on hotels can be found in Panama City versus looking on the beach side and a short 10-15 minute drive is all it takes to hit the sand. If you can't sacrifice on proximity to the water, there are several low cost options on the beach. While these places may not offer the most amenities, they will definitely appease your need to pinch pennies.
