From the moment you arrive in Panama City Beach, you will see why it is a favorite among families and couples as well as the college aged, spring break crowd.
Deciding what to do first is helped by the fact that most of Panama City Beach's family friendly attractions are located on Front Beach Road and Thomas Drive and within only a few miles of each other. Everyone is well aware of the miles of beautiful beaches and all that it has to offer as well as the vacation destination staples like Ripley's Believe It or Not. But, this list also highlights some of the lesser known favorites like our number one stop, Blue Dolphin Tours and number four Man in the Sea Museum.
Blue Dolphin Tours is rated number one for many reasons. The staff is courteous and knowledgeable and is excellent at teaching even the most novice boater how to navigate the water. The dolphin tour itself is an excellent way to get a very close look at the dolphins by swimming with them.
Finally, Shipwreck Island, our number five pick, is an excellent way to cool off and take a break from the beach, but it is also one of our most expensive attractions. It will costs about 130 USD for a family of four just for admission. Parking is free.
