User Review:
- On the ever-fashionable Left Bank, this Saint Germain dance den has made quite a name for itself amongst Paris's fashionable nightlife revelers. Ever since the 2008 YSL party following their Fall/Winter fashion show, the place has been abuzz with star sightings and late-night antics of local. Visitors arrive to a well-guarded entrance flanked by sculpted topiaries, leading to a girlie pink floral staircase to the main dance hall. Contained within a series of interconnected alcoves, lounges and larger dining rooms, Le Sup is awash in royal decadence and aristocratic colors amongst a leather-wrapped bar, velvety club chairs and sunburst mirrors in a coat of Louis XIV gold. A small dinner menu includes a mostly appetizer-minded collection of smoked salmon atop homemade bilinis, "mysterious" lentil soup and terrine of foie gras that incites gags and giggles by the on-site fashion set. Nightly entertainment ranges from live house bands rotating between French-versions of Prince and Bee Gees to harder acoustic and acid jazz nights that lure Left Bank elite (Jetset Report.com).
