Description:
One of the most famous jazz cellars in Europe, with medieval ceiling vaults that make the music reverberate in an evocative way, this venue hosts a revolving set of artists who tend to focus on New Orleans-style jazz. Most of the hip folks who flock here are in their 30s and early 40s. The club schedules live music Thursday through Saturday; on Wednesday, it features recorded music, everything from swing to rock 'n' roll. Open Wednesday 10:30pm to 4am, Thursday to Saturday 11:30pm to 7am.
