Description:
- Tape Bar is a local hangout. It s too relaxed for the extreme emo punks and goths that hang around the Bastille neighborhood. Young people between the ages of 20 and 30 come to Tape Bar to have a drink during happy hour or to enjoy a rock or electronic DJ set later on during the night. The walls are painted red and plastered with posters and a few messages scrawled here and there by customers. On the first Sunday of every month, Tape Bar opens early at 3 p.m. for Record Me Tape, an event to exchange, buy, sell and discuss vinyl records. - Betsy Mikel
