  Located in a quiet part of the Left Bank, just behind the celebrated Manufacture des Gobélins, which has been making fine art tapestries for centuries, this simple hotel is a good budget choice for families. It is within easy reach of central Paris but those with small children will probably spend some time in the nearby Jardin des Plantes, and particularly meeting the animals in its little zoo. The hotel was completely renovated a few years ago and it has a small lift. All the bedrooms have a bath or shower and toilet, satellite and cable television. You can book adjoining rooms for a family of four, or there are larger rooms that sleep three or four. When the weather is fine, breakfast is served on the hotel's little patio. Otherwise, you can take it in your room or in the hotel's little breakfast room. However, since this is a budget hotel, do not expect king-sized beds or airconditioning.
