  Run by the same family for four generations, this hotel has a décor with a definite wow factor. In a 17th-century building with exposed roof beams and stone walls, the hotel's 31 bedrooms and suites are all different. Several have four-poster beds, one a trope-l'oeil painting, another a ceiling of twinkling stars and a Jacuzzi. Breakfast is served in a vaulted cellar with its own well. Yet the hotel is practical for families, too. The hotel's modern facilities include double-glazed windows, lifts, airconditioning and free wifi. The bedrooms all have safes, ensuite bathrooms with shower or bath, flat-screen televisions, hairdryers and minibars. There are triple rooms and two others which sleep four, one of which is a duplex. Baby-sitting is also on offer. You'll find all the boutiques and fashionable bars and cafés of Saint-Germain nearby, while children can let off steam in the Jardin du Luxembourg.
