• The wine stocked cubbyholes look charming as the interiors have changed little since 1938, when it was known as Le Palais du Bon Vin. Jacques Mélac the now owner of this wine bar also brought in a new range of food to his father's former grocery store, including ham, sausages, trout, beef, cheeses and bread. Local working class patrons come from around the area to Bistrot Mélac especially for a drink. This one is the perfect place for some casual interaction with the locals.
