Blue Elephant

Blue Elephant - Paris

  • Description:

    • At this branch of a chain of Thai restaurants, the decor evokes the jungles of Southeast Asia, interspersed with sculptures and paintings. The menu items are succulent, infused with lemon grass, curries, and the aromas that make Thai cuisine distinctive. Examples are chicken sate; large grilled shrimp; salmon soufflĂ© served in banana leaves; and grilled fish with passion fruit. If you have trouble deciding which delicacy is for you, consider a plateau royal, a main course that contains five different specialties of the Thai repertoire (shrimp, chicken, fish, and vegetable dishes), all of them artfully arranged.
