Description:

At the height of the Belle Epoque, Fouquet's was one of the most fashionable places in Paris, Founded in 1899, it is today a brasserie and a hotel as well as a café. Remember, when you take a coffee here, what you are really paying for is a place at a high-rent table on the terrace rather than the actual cup of coffee itself. The award-winning chef Jean-Yves Leuranguer is well aware that he's cooking for film-stars and sends out refined dishes with a nod to Italian as well as French traditions. So as well as lobster ravioli and lots of truffles and caviar, you'll find dishes such as tuna ceviche on the menu, for lovers of luxury who need to watch their waistlines.
