Description:
Many of the patrons who dine here don't know much about Senegalese cuisine, but thanks to a charming welcome and live music presenting African jazz at its most compelling, they tend to come back. The decor evokes a West African fishing village. You can order zesty fare such as roast chicken marinated with lime and served with onions; smoked shark meat; and the national dish, tieboudiene (a blend of fish, rice, and fresh vegetables). The medley is perked up with a selection of fiery sauces you apply yourself.
