Description:
Situated in the Jardins du Trocadéro, just across the river from the Eiffel Tower, this kid-friendly attraction is a good rainy-day retreat. Within its 43 aquariums you can see more than 10,000 fish and other denizens of the deep. There's a touch pool, but that's not where you'll find the 25 sharks that live at Cinéaqua. The five shark species live in a transparent tunnel 33 metres (100ft) long, circling above the heads of the visitors walking through. Included in the admission price are movies on 10 screens in three cinemas and a changing programme of exhibitions and children's workshops and shows. For refreshment there is a choice of the informal Café Zen or Ozu, a traditional Japanese restaurant with its own 600,000-litre fish tank.- © NileGuide2013
