CNIT (Centre national des industries et des techniques)

Description:

  • The CNIT (National center of industries and technology), conceived by architects Robert Camelot, Jean de Mailly and Bernard Zehrfuss, was inaugurated in 1958 in La Défense. This center organized industrial and technological exhibitions for many years before it became a business center in 1989. Its architecture is exceptional: a vault on three pressure points forming an equilateral triangle with sides 220 meters long. Important renovations were made, and in 2009, the CNIT reopened. This center is composed of a large shopping mall, offices and a convention and exhibition center.
