"Hi Riri, I would rearrange your itinerary as follows: Day 1- Take the Metro to the Palais Royal - Musée du Louvre Metro station and walk over to the Arc de Triomphe du Carrousel and then through the Jardin des Tuileries to the Place de la Concorde. The walk down the Champs Elysees Paris to the L'Arc de Triomphe de l'Etoile. If you don't want to walk all the way down the Champs Elysees, you can catch the Metro at either the Franklin D. Roosevelt or Georges V stations and take them to the Charles de Gaulle Étoile station at the Arc de Triomphe. From there, take the Metro to Trocadéro. Hopefully you will be there in the afternoon, when the light on the Eiffel Tower will be the best. Cross over and go up in the Tower. To avoid lines, purchase you tickets in advance at ."  See More

"When my wife and I first went to Paris in 1989, we were much younger, and we saw many of the top sights in 4 days. I had done a lot of research and we had a good idea of what we wanted to see and do and where they were located. We got up relatively early, had breakfast and went sight-seeing all day until about 6:00 p.m., and then went out for the evening. As Lauren commented, it was exhausting, but we saw a lot. On many subsequent trips we have stayed up to two weeks at a time, and we are returning for another 2 weeks in June. I would say that you should allow at least 4 days, and a week is much better and more relaxing. What you should not miss depends on what interests you most. If you are interested in museums, the The Louvre and the Musée d'Orsay are obvious choices. You can save a lot of time and money buying a Museum Pass, which allows you to get into many museums and monuments for no charge and you avoid most of the lines. Buy them for 2, 4 or 6 consecutive days. ."  See More

"The 6th Arrondissement (6ième arrondissement) with Saint-Germain-des-Prés, Odéon and JLuxembourg Garden areas."  See More

"Versailles is pretty impressive, Basilique du Sacre-Coeur with all the merchants in front, Saint-Germain-des-Prés and Luxembourg Garden, La Conciergerie where Marie Antoinette spent the last weeks of her life (they tell the story about her and the revolution), Musee Rodin, maybe Catacombes de Paris if that is not too scary and definitely take a Bateau Mouche at night."  See More

"Luxembourg Garden with several playgrounds for kids Jardin des Plantes with a zoo inside"  See More

"You've been given great advice here so I'm just going to add a few things I don't see listed.  Also, I would strongly recommend you flip your itinerary--Nice is OK, but not spectacular--you should see it, but 3-4 days is about 2-3 days too long, especially when Paris is so much more exciting. Just a thought. :) Rue Montorgueil - one of my favorite market streets in the city. Amazing vibe, tons of fish stands, fruit stores, wine stores, great restaurants (L'Escargot Montorgueil is a classic), music, etc., etc.  Opera Garnier - Do NOT miss seeing this building either from the inside or the outside. It's a little gaudy but so, so interesting. A lot of people don't know this but there's a stagehand who keeps bees on the roof and you can buy his honey around town.  ;"  See More
