This Paris Food Walking Tour is guided by a culinary specialist (a gastronomical journalist, a culinary event specialist, a restaurant owner, a cooking chef...). The tour is a walking tour and is open from 1 to 8 participants. This small size allows to penetrate in tiny shops, easy to the products, and benefit from customized recommendations from the guide. The itinerary is pre-defined but may be arranged according to the guests' wishes, with additional stops or a reallocation of time. The pace allows some time to see the products, ask questions, and eventually proceed to purchases if our guests wish to.
The itinerary includes the following stops: a fine pastry shop, a caterer, regional products shop, chocolate shop and a wine shop. The commentary will include a general description of French food habits, a description of seasonal events related to the tour's period and an introduction to selected specialties in the main shops.
The guide can present how they are produced, how to choose them, how to accomodate them and eventually give recipes, a customization according to the guests' wishes, stops to and comments on additional shops may occur on request. Interaction is the rule! You interract with the guide and can ask all the questions you like. Interraction with the shopkeepers is also encouraged.
