Paris Walking Tour: Left Bank Adventure for Kids

Description:

  • Let the kids get a child's eye view of Paris' Left Bank on a tour designed just for them. With a maximum of 5 children, parents can be assured their child is getting the attention they need while having a whole lot of fun with other kids.

Moms and dads, aunts and uncles, grandmas and grandpas, you want quality time with the children but you might also need time to relax and explore Paris on your own knowing your kids are well looked after and having the time of their lives!

With a varied program of daytime activities for children between the ages of 7 and 12, this walking tour is limited to a maximum of 5 kids, so every child gets plenty of opportunity to ask questions and get to know their fellow adventure seekers!

On this fun packed walking tour of Paris' Left Bank, the itinerary is decided by the kids on the day. The kids might stop at the oh-so-Parisian park - le jardin du luxembourg, to sail toy boats, or maybe ride the wooden animals of the merry go round designed by Garnier (the architect of the Opera). Check out the best puppet show in France or race pedal-powered cars.

Kids love a visit to the natural history museum with a cool parade of life-size African animals. The museum has light and sound shows featuring the different animal habitats, a gallery of extinct creatures and collection of creepy skeletons and oddities like pickled monkeys and human brains.

Other possibilities include traveling back in time at the museum of the middle ages to see mythical creatures, learning about knights in shining armor, the world's first public zoo or a trip to the tropics at the Grande Serre, a giant greenhouse turned urban jungle!

The guide is qualified to work with children and carries a cell phone at all times. Of course, parents are more than welcome to join the fun...and usually do!
