Hi, I would like to know which part of Paris is the best to rent a single room for 4 weeks?

I would advise you to rent a room in the center of Paris : ii is more expensice but more covenient. Try to have a look to the 2nd, 3rd, 9, 11 arrondissements". They will be cheaper than the 5th, 6th, 7th ("rive gauche") areas.

I used to live at the base of the Sacré Cœur in Montlartre and loved it. Did not find it dangerous at night but avoid areas on the fringes of Montmartre like Pigalle and Barbes late at night, especially at weekends

Montmartre is also great part? It's not dangerous in the night? How can I rent a room via internet and be sure it's not a scam?
