• Alta sits at the tippy top of Little Cottonwood Canyon, just up from Snowbird and east of Salt Lake City. In a sea of other world class resorts, Alta definitely manages to stand out with its own unique flavor. Just plain skiing -and lots of fitness-educing hiking to get to it.
