  • NileGuide Expert Says:

An invigorating, non-strenuous way to enjoy the outdoors of Park City in any season

  • NileGuide Expert tip:

Visit during the summer to watch US Ski Team jumpers perfect their tricks over an outdoor pool.

    Description:

    • The Utah Winter Sports Park and Olympic Sports Park is an outdoor tribute to the 2002 Winter Olympics hosted in Salt Lake City, Park City, and Midway, Utah. This park (just south of I-80 in Kimball Junction), located at the base of the very obvious Nordic ski jumps, examines both the skiing history of Utah, and the Salt Lake Olympic Games of 2002. Included here is the Alf Engen Museum and its Intermountain West Ski Hall of Fame. Also a major training facility for bobsled, luge, skeleton, Nordic ski jumping, and freestyle ski jumping teams - spectators can check the online schedule and sometimes witness quite a show of athletic greatness!

Those who feel like getting interactive can try out a ride in a bobsled -as a chauffeured passenger, of course. Test out the steepest zip line in the world, or participate in a camp for Nordic ski jumping, luge, or skeleton. Check online for the tour schedules, camp dates, special events, and more.
