Description:
Looking for a place to get some drinks and do a bit of star gazing this Sundance but lacking one of those highly coveted VIP passes that get you into all the exclusive parties. Fear not, Park City has plenty of happening bars that are open to the public this Sundance where a star or two usually makes an appearance.
Check out Doolan’s Sports Bar (formerly known as Mulberry Street) where I spotted Brad Pitt in 2003 or the local’s favorite, No Name Saloon or neighboring O’Shucks, where many stars go to take a break from the private parties and chill with the locals.
Grab some food and sample one of Utah’s microbrews such as the infamous Polygamy Porter at the Wasatch Brew Pub and then stroll on down to the Spur Bar and Grill for live blues, rock, and folk music all week long. Mulligans Pub is great for late night, a cozy bar for reflecting on the night’s events or stop by the Sidecar Bar to sober up with a freshly made New York styled pizza served until 1 am.

Description:
Step into Doolan's and you'll know what a real sports bar is supposed to look like. The walls are covered in team paraphernalia, and there are 23 TVs, 13 of which are plasmas, and one 108-inch big screen. Needless to say, you'll never have to worry if they'll be showing the game you want to watch. The interior is filled with dark wooden tables and benches which are lined with colorful pillows. Food here is your basic pub grub - burgers, salads, sandwiches, and fries, all at reasonable prices. Doolan's is located on Main Street just across from the town ski lift.

Description:
In a sea of upscale, high-cost Park City establishments, O'Shucks stands out as a *totally relaxed*, inexpensive, casual hangout -one that mostly attracts the younger crowd. Its main specialty is the "fishbowl" of beer, sometimes as cheap as $3 (on discount nights), and free, unlimited in-the-shell peanuts. Take it easy on the beer; even if it's "just" 3.2 %, it'll go straight to your head after a full day of skiing at Park City's high elevation. During the warmer months, a patio opens for outdoor swilling. Stop by and eat a burger -or just crack open some peanuts and play the arcade games.

The decor is as interesting as the club's name. Baby buggies, motorcycles, and antler lamps hang from beamed ceilings above an eclectic mix of collectibles and a western copper bar. The rough and tumble crowd orders up snacks from a small menu and beer from the bar. Favorites include freshly squeezed juices, local micro brewed beer, and typical bar food including nachos, hot wings, and sandwiches.

Description:
This pub brings in a lively weekend crowd with great grub and an atmosphere as bubbly as the beer brewing in its massive vats. Lunch favorites include the buffalo burger, the Brew Master's Combo Club, and the veggie burrito; while popular dinner entrees range from ginger-roasted salmon to roast pork tenderloin. The pub sports a Utah Liquor License, so cocktails and wine are available with food purchase. Beer, however, is the order of the day. The restaurant's motto is, in fact: "We Drink Our Share and Sell the Rest."

The Spur is a Western-themed, upscale bar and grill. Their menu features comfort foods such as Red Chili Hominy Soup, Roasted Adobe Chicken, and Grilled Buffalo Ribs. Try the Cowboy Kettle Stew - a rich melange of chicken, beef, chorizo, beans, and vegetables, slowly simmered in a smoky tomato bouillon. A major attraction to this restaurant is the live music that is featured every weekend. Classic rock, American folk, blues, and honky tonk dominate at this down-home bar and grill. Check the website for upcoming acts and further information.

After a day of skiing or snowboarding, come here to catch your breath. The great bands the owners showcase (playing jazz and ska for example), make this a popular local hangout. Come for the music, but stay for the beer. It carries a wide selection of imported beer, with Guinness being a favorite. The atmosphere is warm and lively with varied nighttime entertainment (call ahead for a schedule.) The bar fare is delicious, so grab a bite to eat while you are here.
