Description:
- When the Court House was taken over by Scott Thomas and family ten years ago, it helped define the term 'gastro-pub'. A place that serves exquisite cuisine but still casual enough to prop oneself up on the bar. The bar and dining room menu differ slightly but the produce is as fresh as possible and created by a truly talented team. The poached yabbies, pea gazpacho, with white truffle cream is a good place to start, though the set lunch provides value for money. The beer list is impressive, with many obscure craft brews on offer (try the brewdog if you like strong beer), however the huge wine list deservedly gets more attention.
