A couple of weeks before Christmas, the streets of central Perth really get into the Christmas spirit with the annual Christmas Pageant. Local dance troops and marching bands perform in between Christmas-themed floats and there are numerous good vantage points on the parade's route around the central streets of Perth. You know it's all over for another year when you finally catch sight of Father Christmas doing the rounds.
