  • Named in honor of the second professor of Geology at the University of Western Australia, the Edward de Courcy Clarke Earth Science Museum is a compact introduction to the world of rocks and minerals. Enter via the Eocene Grove, a garden consisting of plant varieties that grew in Australia 38-55 million years ago. Besides its Earth Sciences public displays, the Museum has collections of over 138,000 specimens used in teaching and research. Exhibits include crystals, volcanoes, fossils, gold and diamonds and there is a separate reference gallery of rocks and minerals. The Curator welcomes geological inquiries. Admission: Free.
