Description:
- Villag Whiskey is the latest Jose Garces restaurant to join the Philadelphia scene, and it offers food and drinks you won't find anywhere else. While the menu seems at first like a traditional burger menu, it includes interesting twists, like a fried egg as a burger topping, a pickle menu, appetizers like house-fried cheese puffs and soft pretzels, and such other menu items as Kentucky Fried Quail and a BBQ Pork Sammy. The beef for the burgers is "sustainable farm-raised angus from Maine." Once you've finished your meal, choose from a wide selection of bourbon, whiskey, rye, and single-malt scotch (or get another drink of your fancy from the full bar).
