- There are two 18-hole courses at Cobb's Creek, Karakung and the Olde Course. The latter, however, is the crown jewel of public courses in the Philadelphia region. Rated the sixth best municipal course in the country by Golfweek Magazine, it's a mature, tree-lined course designed in 1916 by architect Hugh Wilson, who also designed the famed Merion-East course in nearby Ardmore, Pennsylvania.
