Fort Washington Picnic Ground - Philadelphia

    • Flourtown Day Use Area (southern end of park) and Militia Hill Day Use Area (northern end of park) provide over 300 picnic tables. Two shelters are available for year-round use. The shelters may be reserved for a fee, otherwise they are on a first-come, first-served basis. The shelters are large enough to accommodate a company picnic or family reunion. There is a softball field located in the Flourtown Day Use Area along with horseshoe pits and handicapped accessible restrooms. Fort Washington State Park consists of 493 acres in eastern Montgomery County. The park lies between the towns of Fort Washington and Flourtown along the Bethlehem Pike. It is about two miles from PA Turnpike Exit 339.
