Regional American cuisine has a Mediterranean accent, with Saffron-Crusted Grilled Shrimp in a caper berry sauce, tapenades to accent the sea scallops and olives and sun-dried tomatoes in the arugula salad. Galicia Crab Cakes are "zipped"-up with a roasted pepper sauce.
