The Stockyards Restaurant & 1889 Saloon

The Stockyards Restaurant & 1889 Saloon - Phoenix

  • Description:

    • Arizona's Original Steakhouse. Step through the copper entry doors and feel the warm authentic atmosphere of this classic American Steakhouse, which was once adjacent to the largest feedlot in the world. The restaurant is a living history museum that documents Arizona's cattle industry. The Stockyards restaurant has been serving the best hand-cut aged steaks and prime rib for over 50 years. The menu also features pork, poultry, and seafood, and a wide variety of appetizers, salads and desserts. Be sure to visit the 1889 Saloon where you will find a solid mahogany hand carved bar, a player piano, and walls adorned with original murals from the 50's. Step back in time and relax while you enjoy an Arizona landmark. Banquet space and private dining rooms are available, and The Stockyards is always an excellent choice for groups.

      Excellent Steakhouse

    • I will agree with other reviewers that the decor is not contemporary by any means, and the location is not great for dinner--which is too bad. We went there for a business lunch...

Can't be the 2nd best steakhouse in Phoenix

    • Went off of Trip Advisor's reviews. On the plus side, the decor is nice and it looks like an Old West parlour and the history was interesting. That's as far as my compliments...
